How big is the Can Crew recycling station?
The Can Crew station uses a large 515L collection bag, the frame is roughly 74W & 93H, giving you plenty of room for cans and eligible containers without taking up excessive floor space.
How many cans does it hold?
Capacity will vary depending on the size and shape of the containers, but the bag can hold roughly 700–900 cans when filled efficiently.
What comes with the standard Can Crew station?
The standard station includes:
- 1 × aluminium frame
- 1 × heavy-duty reusable collection bag
- Frame & joiners
Does it come assembled?
The station is supplied in parts for shipping and is designed for straightforward assembly. The aluminium frame sections connect using the supplied joiners, then the bag fits over the frame.
Can I remove the bag from the frame?
Yes. The bag is designed to be removed when full, making it easier to transport and empty without moving the entire frame.
What is the Swap Kit?
The Swap Kit includes 1 frame and 2 collection bags. When one bag is full, simply remove it and fit the spare so you can keep collecting straight away.
Can I buy replacement bags separately?
Yes. Replacement and spare 515L Can Crew bags are available separately without needing to purchase another frame.
What can I use it for?
Can Crew is designed for collecting cans and eligible container-refund containers at home, in sheds, workplaces, sporting clubs, community groups and other collection areas.
Can I use it for bottles as well as cans?
Yes, provided the containers fit comfortably in the bag. Keep in mind that larger bottles will reduce the total number of containers the bag can hold.
Is the frame heavy?
No. The frame is made from aluminium, keeping it strong while remaining lightweight and easy to move when required.
Do you offer multi-packs?
Yes. We offer 2-pack, 3-pack and 4-pack options for customers who need multiple collection points or want better value when buying more than one station.
Do you ship Australia-wide?
Yes, Can Crew orders can be shipped across Australia. Shipping costs are calculated based on your order and delivery location.
Can clubs, schools or workplaces order multiple stations?
Absolutely. You can simply add multiple packs to your cart. For unusually large orders, you can also contact us before purchasing if you prefer.
Can the station be kept outside?
It can be used outdoors, but for the longest life of the bag and frame we recommend keeping it in a reasonably sheltered area when possible.
Is the bag reusable?
Yes. The collection bag is designed to be emptied and reused many many times.
